HOUSTON – April 28, 2022 – Iapetus Holdings was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award (Company of the Year – Diversified Service Industries – Large category) in the 20th Annual American Business Awards®. In addition, CEO, Craig Taylor, was voted the Entrepreneur of the Year (Business & Professional Services) Silver award winner, and Sally Lechin received the Marketer of the Year – Bronze distinction.

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word meaning “crowned”, the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Monday, June 13th.

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Thought Leader of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. The judges commented, “The company’s growth both in terms of revenue and headcount is very impressive.” More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

According to the judges who voted for the Company of The Year, “The company appears to have brought some unique perspectives to the energy field.”  Regarding the Entrepreneur of the Year entry, a judge commented, “I am very impressed with your growth and continued perseverance despite the challenging times we have faced in the last year. I am particularly excited to see your work with Atlas Scholars and the holistic approach you are taking with regards to growing the current business while helping out the next generation that will come up the ranks behind us. Growing your business and employees while focusing on defining issues of our time like climate change and the push to net-zero is an inspiration I hope others will want to follow”.

The president of the Stevie Awards, Maggie Miller, stated, “We are so pleased that we will be able to stage our first ABA awards banquet since 2019 and to celebrate, in person, the achievements of such a diverse group of organizations and individuals.” Details about The American Business Awards and the list of 2022 Stevie winners are available at www.StevieAwards.com/ABA.
